Rob Falconer comes from a well-established farming family based around Coorow in the prosperous mid-west wheat belt of Western Australia. Gaining experience as a road train operator with a local haulage company, Rob and his immediate family saw an opportunity to invest in their own haulage business, which would enable them to meet and control the tough transport tasks at harvest times. The 131 tonne rated International Eagle's tare weight advantage of around one tonne over other competing makes was a major factor in their decision, and it contributed to the overall competitiveness and productivity of the Caterpillar powered 9900i.
